The spectacular 25-minute Opening Ceremony on the Huangpu River was the largest deployment of searchlights and the largest fireworks show ever at the time. The show encompassed the whole city and provided audio and lighting to the 6km river frontage of the Expo site.
Auditoria was responsible for designing the audio system, the communications system and the signal transport system that delivered pyro firing data, lighting control data, video signals and audio signals to the 6km of Expo river front.
